NEW at Schiphol Airport.......... DiagNose starts innovative canine operations !

RASCargO is a NEW innovative cargo freight security screening service in the aviation industry.

ICTS Europe has received approval from the Dutch government authorities to start commercial operations of its innovative RASCargO explosives-detection screening product for the cargo industry. As a result, ICTS Europe's Dutch subsidiary will now launch a commercial air cargo screening service at Schiphol Airport under its trade name DiagNose.

It is a quick and very cost efficient alternative to conventional screening services such as X-ray, decompression chamber, atomizer, hand search or freight delay prior to transport.

Based on Remote Air Sampling for Canine Olfaction (RASCO), the RASCargO product involves a two-stage process:

The first stage requires security staff to take air samples from aircraft freight pallets or large cargo containers through specially designed filters.

In the second stage, specially trained dogs analyze or sniff the air samples for the presence of any explosives.

The use of RASCargO carries many advantages:

No expensive infrastructures or equipment required, speed of clearance and can be used to screen all cargo types including dense, cluttered, outsized and high water content cargo.

RASCargO has been approved by government regulators in the Netherlands, France and the UK for use in air cargo screening. Since mid 2004 it has been used on a 24/7 basis by over 100 major airlines and freight forwarders.

The sniffer dogs and handlers are trained and certified to the highest quality standards and are licensed to operate according to Dutch government regulations and are compliant with EU regulation 300/2008.
